As traditional, here is our round up of the (almost) 50 top played bands in Charnel House club night for 2013.
The big surprise is that Lady Gaga has fallen out of our top 50, oh well…
This obviously isn’t an exhaustive list of the bands we play, merely the bands we’ve been playing the most through either the crowd, requests or otherwise – it’s obviously no surprise to see so many staple bands within the mix – but of course the inclusion of many modern post-punk bands and industrial and the likes shows we’ve a good crowd and appetite for new and diverse music.
If you’ve never been, it’s a good indication of what we play – if you have been and there’s names you don’t recognise, well, you’ve probably been enjoying the band so check them out….
So anyway… the top (almost) 50 bands we played in 2013, in alphabetical order, were….
Adam and the Ants, Aesthetic Perfection, Alterred, Bauhaus, Billy Idol, Cold In Berlin, Combichrist, David Bowie, Dead Kennedys, Depeche Mode, Echo and the Bunnymen, Ending the Vicious Cycle, Fields of the Nephilim, Gary Numan, Human League, Japan, Joy Division, Killing Joke, Lebanon Hanover, Marilyn Manson, Mesh, Mono Inc., New Model Army, New Order, O Children, Peter Murphy, Pink Turns Blue, Radio DCS, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Soft Cell, Tenpole Tudor, The Bolshoi, The Cruxshadows, The Cult, The Cure, The March Violets, The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, The Merry Thoughts, The Mission, The Prodigy, The Sisters of Mercy, Virgin Prunes, Voltaire, Vuvuvultures
