On my forehead. They won't go away!
They're not half as bad as they used to be in like September but they're still bad, one day it will be more or less clear and the next day there's loads of spots under my skin, then they're out, then they're healing and then it starts again. It really does my head in!

I use Freederm facewash and cleanser and it has started getting better, I also use Clean & Clear advantage face wash which is ok. I used Quinoderm but it just made my skin really dry so I stopped using that. I dont know what to use to get rid of them, and its only my forehead, nowhere else on my face!

Welcome to the forum.

Hmm...I never had a real spot/acne problem. There's a few scrubs/lotions you can get from the chemist...Clearasil or Oxy 10, but read the labels in case they make your skin worse.

Dunno if there's any natural stuff out there you can use. Probably is.

I am the expert on creams lotions and potions.

What you need is 1 of 2 product ranges

MD Formulations or Bare Essentials

either product range has facial washes , scrubs, masks and what not

the difference is they contain glycolic acid and sylic acid. this in partiuclar is used to treate acne, keretosys pilaris (when people have spots on the backs of their arms / fore arms (affects 1/3 of the population) )

ususaly a wash used every day and a scrub used about once a week should do it. however is summer you must use light sunscreen as there can sometimes be sensativity to the skin and you ,ut use lots of moisureiser. these companies will convince you theirs is best but good old vasaline will clear up any dry skin.

as for the spots on your forhead they are ususaly cuased by sweat, worrie or stress, or oil.

consider using an alternative shampoo such as tresesmme, many people who use shampoo such as aveda, lorriel, and so forth dont relaise they either contain natural oils or a plastici type substance used for hair shine.

this causes oil build up on the forehead.

so thats a day to day treatment

you could also try a glycolis skin peal or what i think works wonders crystal clear therepy which bascially is microdermabrasion.

you could also try an extraction facial but these can be painfull in parts.

id pop along to face ETC or is it face ECT lol in york city centre. i have suffered will loads of skin compaints and bin aot better. they dont charge a fortune a facial is about £20 / £50 with a free skin consultation. mind you the MD and bare essentials products can set you about around £150 for a face wash, scrub and skin pads. but they arnt pushey on sales.

try to avoid decleor, aveda, elemis, clarins and all the other "comercial skins ware" bare essentials and MD are made in America and not available through retial and they are medicated products.

cut out sugar, fat and fired food, drink more pure water less orange and your complection should pick up

failing that try a ZINC food supliment which helps nails, hair and skin.

Hope that helps. for more info mail me

However as it say plenty of healthy food is beneficial (until that's proven to be a myth too *sigh*)

Honestly if it gets too bad, see your doctor. I have to use a strong medicated cream due to infected acne. It's based on "Differin"
