The Charnel House is not just a regular goth night. Our DJs and equipment
are available for hire for any sort of occasion - birthdays, weddings, even
housewarming parties if you have the space. Unfortunately our DJs can't
effectively work in two places at once, so if you're keen to book us for a
specific date, book us early!
Please note that our regular venue and our better known DJs will not be
available for private hire on a regular Charnel House night - these nights
are considered already booked.
The rates below are for private hire - we're completely open to negotiation and discussion for public hire (i.e. guest slot) please email us individually or below if you're interested...

Charnel House in situ

Earliest start is 18.00 (6.00pm) leading to a latest finish of 23.00 (11.00pm)this is due to the venue's current license

DJ, PA and lights hire

2 DJs, PA system, lights & rig

Any times,
you get up to 5 hours for the basic price. We can do longer than 5
hours but at an additional cost of 20 an hour for evey hour after the

Tyne and Wear, Durham. Any farther afield will be subject to reasonable expenses in addition to the basic rate

A venue (which must have a 13A power supply and bathroom facilities available)

What you need to provide:
A venue as above, with working PA system including a mixing desk and twin CD players, we don't use turn tables
Styles we can play: Goth, 80s and alternative 80s, Rock,
Heavy Metal and New metal, Industrial, Darkwave and EBM.
Any combinations of these styles can also be accomodated.
Styles you wish us to play need to be agreed with us
beforehand so we can select which of our staff to send
and which CDs they will require.
Payment options:
Cheque or postal order to be cleared at
least one working week before the event.
Cash on arrival, or Cash in advance.
